Openkore Forum in a New Slate

As of today, Openkore forums have been reset. This may pose a problem on some of my links because they are forwarded on the old Openkore forums. Luckily, i have copies of the plugins in the "Must have Plugins" post before. Just comment in this post if you want to have a copy of those.

Must-Have Plugins for Openkore 2.0.5

Plugins are like extensions of your bot program. They offer various features that can enhance your bot performance (and basically make your life as a botter easier).

How are plugins used?

In your openkore folder, make a folder and name it 'plugins' (without the '). Then put your .pl files in the folder. You're all set.

Here are some of the plugins i use:

Geographer plugin (Openkore Team) - this plugin helps you avoid those annoying geographers who heal each other. Basically, this plugin works so that you dont get to attack that geographer forever. You can also edit it so its not only geographers that you can avoid when they are close together. Very helpful.

Shopper plugin (kaliwanagan) - this plugin is so helpful when looking for that cheap item. It works like this: you setup which item kore will buy and the max price for that item. Once started, the bot will look into each vending pub within range and will buy the item specified, provided that it is within the price range that you specified.

Botting on a Highly Populated Map

Before starting to bot in a highly populated map, you have to consider a few things:

1.) a map that will give you a fairly high amount of exp
2.) your character's level and job
3.) a KS-enabled bot

Maps with Fairly High Amount of EXP

For maps, you could check out Rate My Server for a list of maps where you could bot. Most populated maps in pRO would include the izlude dungeons, geographer maps, clock tower, comodo dungeons, payon dungeons, and GH maps.

Your Character's Level and Job

Your character's job must also be suited for the map you picked. For example, a priest is best suited in orc dungeons or GH dungeons because it is mainly dominated bu undead monsters whereas a sniper or a mage can go well with plant type monsters as they are long-ranged.

A KS-enabled bot

There are a lot of KS-enabled bot out there. The downside is, 99% of these have trojans or viruses embedded in them. Most players use Openkore for botting.
